CFMOTO Dominates Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2025 with Double Victory
CFMOTO has successfully completed the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2025, securing both gold and silver medals. Rider Antanas Kanopkinas delivered the fastest time among ATVs, while his teammate Gaetan Martinez finished in second place, ensuring a double victory for the CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team. This achievement highlights the reliability and endurance of CFMOTO machines in the extreme desert conditions.
A Dominant Performance in the Desert
The five-day rally across the sand dunes of the United Arab Emirates has come to an end, with the racers crossing the finish line in Abu Dhabi. Over the course of five days, they covered nearly 2,000 kilometers, including 1,189 kilometers of special stages. After enduring long and often grueling sections, both CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team riders secured podium finishes in the ATV category, taking first and second places.
Antanas Kanopkinas reflected on his race:
“The first kilometers of the final day were very cautious for me, but then I thought—let’s have some fun. So, I went full throttle and pushed through the last hundred kilometers. I’m very happy and want to thank the team, our partners, and everyone who supports us. We started the season strong, and now we are preparing for the next stage in South Africa. Our ATVs will be packed and shipped there shortly.”
Gaetan Martinez, also thrilled with his first race in Abu Dhabi, shared his excitement:
“This was an amazing event, with so many kilometers of sand. It was my first time in this part of the world, and I would love to return. The result is fantastic—both CFMOTO riders on the podium. Next up is South Africa—I can’t wait!”
Both Kanopkinas and Martinez are proud of their achievement and are already looking forward to the next challenge in May.
