For a buggy tour in the desert, a spare set of clothes is highly recommended, although no one formally requires it.
Why do you need a change of clothes?
After riding, your clothes are almost always covered in sand and sweat, and sometimes they smell of fuel/oil, so it’s nice to change before heading to the hotel or continuing with the program (especially if you’re going to a restaurant/mall afterwards).
In case of a small scratch, spilled water, lost cap, etc., a spare T-shirt, underwear, and light pants/shorts greatly increase comfort and take up little space in your backpack.
What exactly to take?
Minimum: a spare T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt, light pants/shorts, a set of underwear and socks; you can add a thin sweater if the tour is in the evening and it gets cool after sunset.
It is convenient to have a light bag/organizer: you can put a “clean set” in it, and after the tour, you can immediately put away used clothes separately so that sand does not spread throughout your suitcase.
